Nytt år! (og nye sko!)

Godt nyttår! :)

Tenk så herleg: Eit heilt nytt år!!

Med nye mulighetar, nye sjansar, nye utsikter ...

.. og eg feirar det med nye sko!  

Eg fall pladask for desse (etter mi meining) knall-lekre skorne

i vakkert lyseblått, og i dag kom dei heim :)

Det er jo litt vittig

at på fødselsdagen til Elvis Presley,

får eg heim mine blå og (imitert-) semska sko!

Veldig artig! Og så vakre som dei er...

Eg elskar denne fargen!

Me planlegg nytt hus,

og eg har gått ei stund og fundert på korleis eg skal inkludera lyseblå'en;

om det skal vera heile rom, enkle veggar, karmar og lister 

eller møblar og anna interiør som skal visa den fram.

Den skal i alle fall inn! :)

Men fram til me kjem så langt, 

skal eg berre nyta forelskinga mi

i desse lyseblå venleikane,

og håpar eg snart får ein sjanse til å visa dei fram!

Isn't it fantastic: A brand new year!!

With new Possibilities, new chances, new prospects ...

.. and I celebrate with new shoes!  

I fell in love with these (in my opinion) absolutely gorgeous shoes

in beautiful light blue, and today they came home :)

It's a little bit amusing

that I - on the birthday of Elvis Presley -

get my blue (and) suede (-looking) shoes!

Very funny indeed! And they're so beautiful ...

I love this colour!

We're planning a new house,

and for a while I've been thinking about how to include the light blue;

whether is should be whole rooms, single walls, door frames or window sills

or maybe furniture and other interior to wear the colour..

In any case, it's going in! :)

But until we get that far,

I will just enjoy my infatuation

with these light blue beauties,

and hope I soon will get the chance to show them off!

Bryllupsreisa

Bryllupsreisa gjekk til vakre Skottland, kor me likar oss særs godt!!

Me fekk eit flott rom på The Scotsman i Edinburgh, og me koste oss veldig.

 

  

Me såg sjølvsagt Edinburgh Castle, her sett frå Princes Street,
som tronar så flott på toppen av byen, i øverste enden av the Royal Mile

Palace of Holyrood House ligg i nederste enden av the Royal Mile,
og er slottet dronninga bur når ho er i Skottland.

Scott-monumentet

Har 287 trappetrinn, og dess høgare opp du kjem, dess smalare vert det,

men turen opp er verd det, for utsikta er fantastisk!

(Eg gjekk i høge (kile-)hælar, men det gjekk heilt fint!)

Eit par sko eg veldig gjerne ville ha, men som dei ikkje hadde i min storleik ... snufs ..
 

Ei herleg veke som gjekk altfor fort!!
Men me skal tilbake, til vårt elskede Skottland <3

Our honeymoon went to beautiful Skottland, where we just love to be!!

We got a lovely room at The Scotsman in Edinburgh, and we had a great stay there.

Of course we saw the Edinburgh Castle, here seen from Princes Street, 
sitting high in the top of the city, in the high end of the Royal Mile

 Palace of Holyrood House is at the low end of the Royal Mile,
and is where the queen lives when she is in Scotland.

Has 287 steps, and the further up you go, the narrower they get,

but the walk up is worth it, because the view is spectacular!

(I wore heals (wedges), but had no problems!)

and this nice handbag and a pair of shoes were among my catches.

There was also a pair of shoes I really wanted, 
but they didn't have them in my size ... weep weep..

A fantastic week which went too fast!!
But we are going back, to our beloved Scotland <3

Mamma sine brudesko

Me skal gifta oss Jonsokafta, altså 23. juni, og eg har vore hjå skomakaren og fått ordna brudeskorne Mamma brukte for 45 år sidan.
Er dei ikkje fine??
Gler meg til å gå med dei!!


We're getting married on Midsummer Night's Eve, which is June 23rd, and the cobbler's fixed the bridal shoes my Mom used 45 years ago.
Don't they look nice??
I'm so looking forward to wear them!!
