Meir stove

Dei som er på facebook med meg, har mogelegvis fått med seg
at eg har hatt ryddeprosjekt denne veka.

Eg rydda 'hukken' i stova, som dei siste (snart) 4 årene vore ein plass eg stua vekk ting,

noko som funkar sånn passeleg, sidan gjestar faktisk ser det, sjølv om fjernsynet står foran...

Men no fekk eg den store rydde-anden over meg, og sidan den er (som kjend) Anden som Går (Nei, ikkje Fantomet... og ikkje Donald heller...) måtte eg skunda meg!!

I tillegg måtte gjesterommet ikkje berre ryddast, men faktisk utgravast, så mykje rot var det!!

(Og alt var mitt verk ... )

Det tok meg faktisk tre (JA, 3) dagar å verta ferdig med alt, 

men her er resultatet i stove'hukken':

Vitrineskapet er ikkje overfylt lenger 

(burde kanskje hatt før-bilete, så du kunne sett skildnaden, 

men eg gidd IKKJE rota det til att, så du får berre forestilla deg det)

og det ser faktisk koseleg ut no!!

 Eg har fått lov å male det, men det får vente ei stund.. 

har ikkje tid til det no så tett på jul!! (hahaha)

Desse hyllene var fylt av bilete av dei skjønne nevøane og niesene våre, 

men då det såg litt uryddig ut slik det var, og me har mange, mange bilete av dei på den digitale ramma (den svarte nederst til venstre, ja) vart dei flytta til gjesterommet.

Eg har lett for å stresse, så eg må prøva å dandere ting så det vert meir harmonisk og roleg for hovudet mitt å sjå på, og til slutt vart hovudet mitt nøgd :)

Denne skjønne glaskrukka med kalv og glitter (som treng å bli skifta vatn på, ser eg...)

fekk me til jul hjå eine niesa vår, då var ho fire år.

Er den ikkje skjønn??

I 'hukken' står også dokkehuset mitt (men det er ikkje ryddig, har hatt småjentebesøk i dag!)

og kassen med leikar til når me får born på besøk, så den har blitt ein fin leikekrok no

(før var den ein trang leikekrok...)

Hylla over den gamle terrassedøra kunne likegodt også få ei utskifting når eg først var i gong,

og har no fått eit meir maritimt preg.

Biletet i svart-kvitt er tatt tidleg på 1900 talet av ei kompassutstilling hjå instrumentmakarfirmaet J.C. Krohn & Søn i Strandgaten i Bergen.

Er det ikkje flott?

Under oppryddinga på gjesterommet fann eg att eine serveringsfatet mitt, som eg kjøpte på loppemarknad i Danmark då eg budde der. 

Eg trur eg betalte 15 kroner for dette og eit serveringsfat til,

som framleis er pakka vekk.

Serveringsfat likar jo best å ha noko på seg, 

så det fekk det, og pyntar no på ovnen.

Blomen er ein fredløs som niesa vår plukka til oss i dag,

og den passa så fint her!

Er veldig glad i norgesglas, og dette har vore farmor mi sitt,
og synest det gamle bestikket vart så fint oppi :)

I tillegg hadde dei fine, fine haustlyng på hagesenteret i dag,

og eg tok tre med meg heim!!

 

Dei er så fine, at eg trur eg må kjøpa fleire på måndag ...

Deilig å ha det ryddig i heimen!!

(Loftet er derimot heilt stappa fullt...)

My facebook-friends might have noticed I have had a tidying/cleaning project this week.

I tidied a small part of the livingroom, which for the last (almost) 4 years has been a place I stowed stuff away, which doesn't work too well when the TV doesn't cover it up, and the guests can see it anyways ...

But I suddenly got the Great Spirit of Neatness over me (also known as the Spirit Who Leaves Quickly..) and had to go to action instantly!

In addition the guest room didn't just had to be tidied, but actually excavated, as it was filled with clutter (and it was all my doing...)

It actually took me three (YES, 3) to get done, 

and here is what the livingroom-part looks like now:

The vitrine isn't overly cluttered anymore

(maybe I should have had before-pictures for you to see the difference,

but I WON'T mess it up again, so you'll have to imagine)

and looks kinda cozy now, doesn't it?

I have been granted permission to paint it, but that will have to wait a while,

haven't got time so close to Christmasl!! (hahaha)

These shelves were filled with pictures of our sweet nephews and nieces, 

but as it looked kinda messy the way it was, and we have many, many pic's of them on the digital photoframe (the black in the lower left corner)

they were moved to the guest room

I stress easily, and must try to display our things in a harmonic and calm way for my head to view them, and finally my head agreed :)

This cute jug (made as a snow orb) with a toy calf and glitter 

(and needs to get a water-change, I can see...)

we got for Christmas from one of our nieces, when she was four.

Isn't it adorable??

In the corner of the livingroom is also my doll's house

(which is not tidy, as I had little girls visiting today!)

and the box with toys for when kids come visiting,

and has become a nice playtime corner

(whilst it earlier was a narrow playtime corner...)

The shelf above the old terrasse door also needed a change when first had it over me,

and has now a more naval feel to it.

The black-and-white photo was taken in the early 1900s at the J.C. Krohn & Son in Bergen.

They made optical equipments and instruments, and show their work in this picture.

 Isn't it beautiful?

While tidying the guestroom I found one of my serving trays,

bought on a flea market when I lived in Denmark.

I believe I paid 15 kroner (about $2?) for this and another one

which is still stowed away.

Serving trays prefers to have something on them, so I granted it's wish

and let it decorate the furnace/oven.

The flower is a loosestrife our niece picked for us today,

and it looks great here!

I am very fond of the kilner jar norgesglaset, and this one was my grandmother's.
I think the old cutlery looks so pretty in it :)

At the garden centre they had pretty pretty autumn heathers today,

and three came home with me!!

They're so pretty, I think I might have to get some more on Monday ...

How lovely to have a totally neat home!!

(The attic, on the other hand, is absolutely stuffed...)
